A device for resistance spot welding contains upper 1 and lower 2 electrode holders mounted for movement in direction with one another, the upper electrode holder being rigidly fixed from the drive unit 3, on which the guide columns 4 and the pusher 5 are mounted. Between the electrode holders 1 and 2, an adjustable spring 6 is mounted. The lower electrode holder 2 is made straight-line and the upper electrode 7 is mounted on its pile. The upper electrode holder 1 covers the lower electrode holder on the side. On the upper electrode holder 1, the lower electrode 8 is installed coaxially with the upper one.
The top electrode holder is C-shaped and covers the bottom bottom electrode holder on one side. To increase the rigidity of the electrode holder and to improve the positioning accuracy of the parts to be welded, it is possible to make the upper electrode holder 1 gantry, the coverage of the lower electrode holder 2 is made on both sides.
